Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please ensure that your abstract complies with the following requirements before submission:

• Word Limit: 250–300 words.

• Font and Formatting: Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing.

• Page Layout: All margins should be set to 2.5 cm.

• File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

• Abstract Structure: The abstract should include an introduction, objective, methodology, significance, findings, conclusion, and recommendations.

• Title: The title should accurately reflect the content of the study, preferably not exceeding 10–13 words. The first letter of each major word should be capitalized.

• Author Information: Authors' full names (with surnames in capital

•  letters), institutional affiliations, departments, e-mail addresses, and ORCID iDs must be clearly provided.

• Keywords: Include 3–5 keywords (or keyword phrases) immediately below the abstract that best describe the study.

• Originality: Submitted abstracts must be original and must not have been previously presented or published elsewhere.

• Ethics Approval: For studies requiring ethics approval, the relevant ethics committee approval must have been obtained prior to submission.

• Submission System: Abstracts should be submitted through the symposium's online submission system. After submission, authors are advised to ensure that they have received an automatic confirmation e-mail from the system.

Registration Fees

For Academics:

In-Person Presentation: 2,000 TL

Online Presentation: 1,200 TL

For Students:

In-Person Presentation: 1,200 TL

Online Presentation: 800 TL 

International participants are exempt from the registration fee.

The registration fee is charged per paper, regardless of the number of authors.

Please Note: Each author may participate with only one paper.

Registration Fee Includes

In-Person Participation: Presentation of the paper, certificate of participation for all authors, publication of the abstract and full paper in the ISBN-registered electronic conference proceedings, symposium materials, lunch and coffee breaks

Online Participation: Online presentation of the paper, certificate of participation for all authors, publication of the abstract and full paper in the ISBN-registered electronic conference proceedings

Important: Since invoices will be issued, participants residing in Türkiye are kindly requested to include their Turkish National ID Number (T.C. Identity Number) in the payment description.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests submitted before the registration deadline will be eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee.

No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received after the registration deadline. 

Participants are kindly requested to carefully review and comply with the above conditions to avoid any inconvenience.

Abstract Submission

To participate in the symposium, please submit your abstract to uokpads.edam@gmail.com by 15 September 2026. Please indicate in your submission e-mail whether you wish to participate in person or online.

All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and the review results will be communicated to the corresponding author via e-mail. Authors whose abstracts are accepted are required to complete the registration fee payment and send the payment receipt to the same e-mail address. Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of the payment confirmation.

Full Paper Submission: Participants who wish to submit a full paper must send their papers, prepared in accordance with the full text template, to uokpads.edam@gmail.com by December 11, 2026. 

Full paper submission is not requiered.
